On the first Advent weekend, the cantonal capital of Glarus turns into a festive winter market against the snowy backdrop of Mount Glärnisch. Over seventy wooden stalls offer artisan craft goods, traditional Glarner Pastete, Schabziger cheese, and visits from Samichlaus.
