Rabadan Carnival Bellinzona

Rabadan is Ticino's largest carnival. It starts when the city keys are handed to King Rabadan, and for six days the old town of Bellinzona fills with Guggen bands, masks and festival tents. The programme includes a masked parade by local school and kindergarten children, and the large Sunday parade has floats and about two thousand participants.
