The Engadin Ski Marathon is Switzerland's largest mass-participation sports event. Cross-country skiers race 42 km from Maloja across the frozen Engadin lakes to S-chanf, and a 21 km half marathon is also offered. The women-only Engadin Frauenlauf takes place a week earlier, on 7 March 2027.
